Position: Executive Director Coordinator (Part-Time)

The Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Richmond County Bar Association (VLP) is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Executive Director Coordinator to lead and manage our pro bono legal services program for indigent Staten Island families. This role involves marketing, client outreach, and program coordination to ensure effective delivery of legal assistance to those in need.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, foster, and develop client outreach and marketing initiatives for the pro bono legal services program
  • Screen potential clients for legal needs and financial eligibility
  • Recruit and promote a list of pro bono attorney volunteers
  • Coordinate pro bono services with clients and assist with court appearances as necessary
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all service requests and clients served
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements and coordinate with professionals as needed
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Board, including statistics on calls received, clients served, and success stories
  • Attend and present at quarterly board meetings
  • Perform general administrative office duties

Qualifications:

  • Experience in administrative, marketing, or grant writing fields is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Prior experience in legal services or nonprofit organizations is encouraged but not required

Otterbeck Law Firm is looking for a part time legal secretary in a busy Staten Island law office. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and professional phone skills. Three or four days, Tuesday and Friday, and one or two other days, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 7 hours per day at $25.00 per hour. No benefits.
