Family

The Hon. Arnold Lim served almost 20 years as a New York State Family Court Judge (2000-2018) and is currently a Judicial Hearing Officer (JHO) in Richmond County Family Court. Judge Lim earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Hunter College (1977) and was a psychiatric social worker before beginning his legal career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in The New York City Law Department upon graduating from Brooklyn Law School (1986). He was also the Deputy Executive Director of the Mayor's Task Force on Police Community Relations (1997-1998).
