Staten Island's top attorneys weigh ethics and personal convictions in deciding to take on the most heinous cases

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Child molesters, rapists and cold-blooded killers. 

By the time an arrest is made, the suspects are already branded as evil, and in many minds -- guilty. 

Regardless if it's cop-killer Ronell Wilson or Michael Mastromarino, who masterminded a multi-million-dollar scheme to harvest body parts, suspects in lurid, high-profile cases have a right to lawyers who will do their best to get them off, or, at least, reach a favorable plea deal.
