Our organization is unlike any other, mainly because of the people and relationships established on Staten Island. It is absolutely delightful to hear the stories told of days gone by and good times had by many of our seasoned attorneys. While we can appreciate that times do change and technology has certainly had an influence on the younger generation, the RCBA would like to bring back the Mentorship Program to bridge the gap between the wiser and experienced, with that of the new and upcoming attorneys. The time commitment is as much or as little as you would like it to be and more importantly, it will be a rewarding experience in that you can help foster the love of law and its practice for generations to come.
We are asking for your help to kick-start this program. If you are interested in volunteering to be a mentor, please contact Irini Bekhit directly and provide her with all of your contact information and your areas of practice.
If you are an attorney that would like to be paired up with a mentor, please contact Irini as soon as possible. There is no requirement as to the number of years that you must be admitted to the bar. This is a great way to network and have local friendly resources that are willing to help you along your legal path. More importantly, it is a way to step outside your comfort zone and make some new friends.
Irini Bekhit, Esq.
